• Full Membership in Jewelers of America (JA) - JA provides many products and services in four key areas: Member Savings, Education, Certification, and Marketing. Members will receive a subscription to the JA Newsletter, The J Report. JA offers legislative representation and lobbying in Washington, D.C. as well as access to a team of dedicated industry professionals who will help you with your business needs. • Conference - The IJA State Conference is held each fall, with two-days of educational seminars and speakers for store owners, managers and employees. The weekend agenda also includes social activities for members and their families, and always provides networking opportunities for members and representatives of major industry suppliers.
  
  
• Newsletter - IJA's quarterly newsletter keeps members up-to-date on national and local issues, activities and events.
  
  
• Website Link to Jewelers of America - All IJA members are linked to Jewelers of America's website with a locator that lets consumers find a jeweler by state, city, or zip code. The member list contains your store's information and can be linked directly to your website.

• Group Insurance Programs - Offered by Federated Insurance, the Jewelers Security Plus package of insurance products is tailored for the jewelry industry. For more information on Federated's products, contact the IJA office.
  
  
• Security Alert System - IJA alerts members, via email or fax, of security related issues, crime alerts or other threats that face the jewelry industry.
  
  
• Scholarship Program - Offered in conjunction with Jewelers of America, member store employees can apply for scholarships for a variety of distance learning or continuing education courses offered by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), Diamond Council of America (DCA), Jewelers Education Foundation (JEF) and the Gemmological Association of Great Britain (GEM-A).
  
  
• Complimentary Subscription to Jewelers, Inc. Magazine - This regional trade journal provides members with monthly updates of association activities and the latest industry news.
